A GENTLE REMINDER OF OUR SUMMER SCHEDULE
During July and August we meet once a month with a special speaker.
This summer's services are on

She will be speaking from Phillipians 3:13-15
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:
Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which
God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus...
Latima Johnson is a spokesperson for the NYC Department of Correction, a former magazine editor, radio host and published author. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Strategic Communications.
She serves as Vice President of the Board of Evangelism at Tabernacle CME Church located in Saint Albans, New York
and is a member of the Voices of Tabernacle Choir.

Emanuel has been a part of our town for 150 years and look forward to many more to come. Our mission statement is “no matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!” And you are!
This summer we welcome our neighbors and friends to come by and let us know how WE can serve YOU. Emanuel is known as Woodhaven’s friendly church” and you are very important to us. We hope to see you soon.
